Ultrafine nickel powder generally refers to nickel powder with a particle size of less than 1 μm. Based on particle size, ultrafine nickel powder is typically classified into micron-sized nickel powder (average particle size ≥ 1 μm), submicron-sized nickel powder (average particle size 0.1–1.0 μm), and nanoscale nickel powder (average particle size 0.001–0.100 μm).
Ultrafine nickel powder possesses characteristics such as small size, high surface activity, excellent conductivity, and superior magnetic permeability, making it widely applied in fields such as hard alloys, multilayer ceramic capacitors, magnetic materials, high-efficiency catalysts, conductive pastes, absorptive materials, and electromagnetic shielding materials.
