Relying on inorganic materials as the skeleton,the surface modification of zinc oxide nanoparticles by mechanochemical method improves the interfacial reaction,solves the agglomeration due to nanoscale effect,ensures the vulcanization activity,and improves the strength of rubber products;
The wet modification process uses organic zinc as the carrier to make the product more evenly dispersed in the rubber system,improving the vulcanization system,reducing the vulcanization temperature,and increasing the vulcanization speed,which not only improves the existing vulcanization activity of zinc oxide,but also improves the anti-reversion of natural rubber.
After the surface modification of zinc oxide,the reaction of organic accelerators,stearic acid,sulfur,etc.in the rubber system is easier to occur on the surface of the zinc oxide particles.This all makes zinc oxide form an accelerator soluble in rubber,and the zinc salt reaction is easier to carry out,its solubility is improved,and a complex is formed to make the accelerator more active.
As a vulcanization activator,it can transform the rubber material from a linear structure to a three-dimensional structure after a series of complex chemical reactions,so that the rubber has high elasticity and excellent physical and mechanical properties(heat resistance,solvent resistance and corrosion resistance),and enhance the use value and application range of rubber products.
