Ultraviolet Absorber

Nano zinc oxide can absorb ultraviolet rays, effectively blocking medium-wave ultraviolet rays (UVB) and long-wave ultraviolet rays (UVA). Due to its small particle size, nano zinc oxide significantly enhances the ultraviolet absorption rate per unit addition. As an inorganic metal oxide, nano zinc oxide ensures long-term stable and effective UV shielding performance, suitable for use in environments with strong ultraviolet radiation, such as protective coatings for wooden furniture, resins, plastics, rubber, as well as cosmetics and sunscreen products.

Ceramic Crystallization Agent

Nano zinc oxide exhibits nano-effects, characterized by small particle size and large specific surface area. Compared to conventional zinc oxide, it possesses higher chemical activity, significantly reducing the sintering densification degree of materials, which results in denser and more uniform microstructures in ceramic materials, enhancing their performance. In addition, ceramic products containing nano zinc oxide have antibacterial, deodorizing, and self-cleaning properties, greatly improving product quality.

Rubber Activator and Vulcanization Accelerator

In the rubber and tire industry, zinc oxide is an indispensable additive. During the vulcanization process of rubber, zinc oxide reacts with organic accelerators, stearic acid, and other substances to form zinc stearate, which enhances the properties of vulcanized rubber. In addition, it is also used as vulcanization activator, reinforcing agent, and coloring agent for natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and latex. Nano zinc oxide has excellent dispersibility. When added to the rubber compound of the target product as a vulcanization activator, it exhibits enhanced activity, improving the microstructure of vulcanized rubber, enhancing the surface finish, mechanical strength, and tear strength of rubber products, and enhancing heat and oxidation resistance. It also offers advantages such as anti-aging properties, resistance to friction-induced ignition, and extended service life.

Photocatalyst

Nano zinc oxide has a small size, large specific surface area, and increased active sites on its surface, which increases the reaction contact surface. Under ultraviolet light irradiation, nano zinc oxide can decompose organic substances, inhibit bacteria, and eliminate odors. This photocatalytic property makes nano zinc oxide widely used in industries such as textile fibers, cosmetics, ceramics, environmental engineering, and glass.

Conductive Zinc Oxide

Conductive zinc oxide is developed for the manufacture of light-colored or white antistatic products, mainly used in coatings, resins, rubber, fibers, plastics, and ceramics as a conductive white pigment. The conductivity of zinc oxide can give plastics and polymers antistatic properties.
